I’m Shaina, and I hope to help you understand what a doula does, and how it can be a beneficial service for anyone that wants extra support. As a doula, I am passionate and privileged to help make these experiences as positive as possible. I have been a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) since 2010. I've loved infants since I was two-years-old, and I'm passionate about helping families bring them into the world and care for them. I am proud to be working diligently on my birth doula certifications with PALS, and I did postpartum doula training with NAPS in 2019. I’ve also completed a DONA approved TENS unit training, and I’m very excited to be able to offer that pain coping technique to my clients. I completed a breast/chest feeding course for doulas in 2019 to be able to further assist my clients with those needs. I am currently doing a VBAC for doulas class through The VBAC Link, as VBACs require extra knowledge, support, and TLC, and I want to be as educated as possible for my clients. I love spending time with my family, being outdoors especially at the beach, reading, watching movies, and traveling. My personality is calm, compassionate, supportive, gentle, and thoughtful. My services are offered in the greater Seattle area from downtown Seattle North to Arlington, and the Eastside to Bellevue.
I’m Milla, and I have been fascinated with babies and childbirth since I can remember. It’s just such a special transformative time for a family, and I never get tired of being a part of people’s journey to parenthood. Helping people in any way I can really fills my cup, and that makes doula work an ideal fit for me. I am DONA certified, and have done extra trainings in TENS unit use, breast/chestfeeding, and Spinning Babies. I also have a background in mental health counseling which I believe benefits me in helping to support my clients emotionally through their births and beyond. I’m a mother of three and have had very different experiences with all of my births, and that has given me some really great insight into how I can help others no matter what their own birth looks like. In my free time I love to go on long walks with my baby, lift kettlebells, and snuggling up to watch movies with my family. My personality is friendly, calm, reassuring, and non-judgmental. My service area is Seattle to Arlington, and the Eastside from Bellevue to Woodinville.
